He who does not travel
does not know the value of men
-Moorish Proverb

So I just got back from a wonderful weekend trip to London. After Dublin being a let down, I didn't set my standards too high for London, but it was better than expected. It was so exciting to see everything in person that I have only seen in movies and pictures.

So the biggest excitement I have to say is seeing all of the Harry Potter Stuff. I saw the Piccadilly Circus where the trio apporated  to after the death eaters crashed the wedding and the area they walked down when Hermione said that they forgot about Harry's Birthday. I also went to Kings Cross to platform 9 and 3/4 and took a very Tourist photo. The other photo on the right is the entrance to diagon ally in Harry Potter and the Half blood prince. This is believed because to the left (not in the photo) is a number 12 which is in the scene in the movie.

We bought a bus ticket that took you to all different places around London and you can hop on and off at anytime which made it easier than walking the whole city trying to find things. I saw things like Big Ben and Parliament  The Tower Bridge, The London Eye, The London Tower, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace,Trafalgar Square, and Piccadilly Circus.

On our way to Buckingham Palace, We got to see some royal guards up close and I just had to take a funny picture!

Before we went to London, We bought special tickets for the London eye so we could go on once during the day and then again at night. It was so beautiful. Seeing is during the day was amazing, but night was spectacular. Seeing the city all light up was just beautiful.  I was just an amazing weekend and I would love to go back!
